DAXKO just kicked off its first ever mobile app development competition – or MAD, for short. The intent is to create a mobile app for DAXKO that would create buzz in the markets we serve, demonstrate our innovation, and add value to users. We’ve got people with ideas, and we’ve giving them the chance to show off their MAD skills! Here’s how it works…
Teams are self-formed and self-governed. (Sorry - the competition’s only open to DAXKO team members.) And everyone’s got ideas, so we want everyone to participate – not just engineers. On Demo Day, teams will present their app to all of DAXKO. There’ll be some deliberation and voting. Then… what you been wondering all along… $10,000 in prize money will be awarded! That’s right… more than just honing their skills, first place pays out $7,500, with $2,500 going to the “People’s Choice Award.” The winning apps will be unveiled at DAXKO Labs at General Assembly in Salt Lake City July 8-10.
