If you had us under oath, we’d confess that our candidate selection process is actually the most important thing we do. Why? Because everything else hinges on selecting amazing talent. We diligently search for that smart few who share our core values and passion for serving others. We look for people who know their stuff, don’t mind a thorough intellectual probing, and can give a presentation with some serious gusto. And most importantly, we want to work with people who take their jobs seriously, but don’t take themselves too seriously. See open positions.

Post image for Lessons Learned in 2011

Year 5-and-something at Daxko, and still learning. Last year was my first full term as Daxko’s Product Specialist, first role in Sales, and the fresh opportunity in years to see what Daxko does.  Here are the top lessons I learned last year:
1.) Everyone has a different clock.
a. Notice how nobody asks, “What time is it?” at Daxko? [...]

What would you do if you lost your job tomorrow?
Chances are you would update your LinkedIn profile, dust off your resume, add your Daxko accomplishments to it, brush up on thought leadership topics in your area of experience, and start networking like crazy. I see a ton of good reasons to do that right here, [...]

We’re almost a month into the new year by now. If you’re like me, this is the point where you realize that certain new year’s resolutions are not going to get accomplished. I typically am a very determined person who sets personal, career and spiritual goals and fully plan to live up to those expectations. However, there are [...]

Action is the foundational key to all success. – Pablo Picasso

And action is something that there is certainly no shortage of around Daxko.  When I think about the three short months that I have been here, they have been action-packed in my attempt to help organize:

Leadership Team Retreat
Daxko-Wide Halloween
Daxko Family Tailgate
2 Daxko-Wide Meetings

As VP of People at Daxko, a tech company, it is always interesting to see leadership stories about other tech companies.  In this case the other company is Apple, Inc.  A company who, generally, we are fans of at Daxko.  I thought it would be interesting to share some insight.
A pal of mine, Greg Lee, Sr. [...]

Top 10 Kick-Off Takeaways

by David W01.17.2012

Another Daxko Kick-Off has come and gone!  The event was entertaining, informative and productive as always.  The Go Game was fun.  And my team had some great takeaways from the sessions… that we, of course, captured on sticky notes.  But you learn a lot of things at Kick-Off in addition to the information shared in the [...]

If you follow @Daxko on Twitter or Facebook, you have heard by now that we had an amazing company-wide retreat last week called Kickoff. It’s been a tradition since 2005 for the entire company to go offsite and talk about the previous year’s highs/lows and the new year’s goals and initiatives.

I’m Back!

Thumbnail image for I’m Back! by Concetta L01.12.2012

As James Brown says in his song, Get Up Offa That Thing,….I’m back!  Yes, I’ve been gone for a while but now I have returned and I am so excited.
I have been out of the office on maternity leave for 8 weeks. There is nothing better than spending time at home with a new born [...]

The Go Game Comes to Daxko

by Barbara S01.10.2012
Thumbnail image for The Go Game Comes to Daxko

One cell phone, one digital camera, and one mysterious envelope. These were the only items packed inside the small, metal Power Rangers lunch box I’d raced to the front of the room to grab for my team. Out of breath (and already regretting wearing my wedge heels), I delivered the lunch box to my seven [...]
